## Description

The candidate is responsible for being the prime interface for IPD related projects to a large North American Service Provider and its internal sales teams. Responsibilities include expert level knowledge of the IPD products and solutions, including roadmaps and product strategy and direction. The functions of the job include influencing customers at both a CXO and engineering/operations level on the value of Alcatel-Lucent and our solutions.
In addition to expert level technical skills, the successful candidate is expected to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Pre-sales and presentation experience is a big asset to this position.
This position requires travel up to 2 weeks a month.
## Qualifications
The candidate must display in depth and working knowledge of:
IP routing and IP protocols
IP/MPLS, BGP
L2 and L3 unicast and mcast VPNs
OAM (L1-L3)
SROS
QoS and traffic management
Subscriber management and residential services architectures
IPD hardware (7x50, xxxx, xxxx)
Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

* Data Center Networking (Nuage networks)
* Openflow, vxlan,
* SDN controllers and experience
